Emily’s Sick
I’ve been home since Friday because Emily has been sick. Susan stayed home with Emily on Thursday. Susan took Emily to see the doctor on Thursday and Emily was diagnosed with a virus that just needs to run its course. Her symptoms steadily got worse so we took her to the doctor on Saturday and she was diagnosed with pneumonia. The symptoms on Thursday were a fever and stomach ache. By Saturday, the additional symptoms were a cough and heavy breathing (especially while sleeping). I’m thinking the stomach ache may have been more of a chest ache. She seems to be improving today. However, in the last few days, her temperature has spiked up in the late afternoon so we’ll see if the same thing happens today.
