It’s been an odd day. The training center where I am today has a large screen tv in the breakroom that’s on all day that is set to one of the 24 hour cable news channels. I’ve been glued to it at each break. I try not to discuss politics on this blog (and I’ll continue to try not to). But I have been volunteering for one of the U.S. presidential candidates since February 2007 (approximately one year before even the first primary in Iowa). If you are curious who I am supporting, you can Google my full name and the answer would be found on the first couple of pages of Google results. I had difficulty sleeping last night. Tonight, it will either be a very happy night or a very depressing night. I’ll learn the result of my 1 3/4 years work tonight (early hopefully).
Update: Oh, and I know that some of my family and my very best friends hope I have a depressing night. And that’s definitely okay.
